-
- Well, actually, I have. I'm using E version 3.2b registered.
-
- My current project is nearly 20,000 lines of E code (!!!!) much of which
- I wrote myself, I've been using E commercially since 1994, so I know what
- I'm talking about! (It wasn't my choice to write the project in E....)
-
- I could give you a very long list of reasons why I don't like E. It's got
- some very fundamental design flaws as a language, and although it's quite
- easy for a beginner to get into I really can't recommend it to anyone for
- any serious use.
-
- A Visual E may be a good toy for amateur programmers to play with, but
- anything based around E cannot be a professional development system, IMHO.
